I was so excited to spend an evening in the park photographing this special seven month old.  Everything about the evening was perfect.  The unbearable heat we have been having finally gave way to a beautiful 80 degree evening.  The sun was starting to set.  My boys were running crazy with their best friend, Margaret’s big brother.  And I was spending time with some of my most favorite people in the World.

Living away from most of my family since College, I have been blessed with some truly amazing friends who have become my local family.  We can call on each other when things go wrong and celebrate when things go really right.  Margaret’s parents are those people for us.  I am so lucky to have them in my life and can’t help but feel sentimental as Margaret starts making that transition from baby to toddler.  Our babies are growing up!  It was an honor to capture this happy, spirited and beautiful girl!

She’s so close to crawling.  I feel like it was just yesterday that we were anxiously awaiting her arrival!

She was definitely a trooper – up past her bedtime!

There is nothing quite like the comfort of a mama’s arms.  May she always know that!
